"Is'thunzi" star Thuso Mbedu
has bagged her first international award nomination.
The actress has been nominated in the 2017 International
Emmy Awards for her role in the Mzansi Magic drama.
Thuso has been nominated in the Best Actress Category
and will go up against other actresses from Brazil,
Germany and the United Kingdom.
She shared the news on Instagram alongside the pictures
of her on set and wrote: "So it's been brought to my
attention that I've been nominated for the International
Emmy Awards which is kind of a big deal for me I have to
